Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of StreamRev. Please read them carefully. By using StreamRev you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, contact us before you use the service.
1. What StreamRev is
StreamRev is a tool that ingests royalty statements you upload (for example, from your distributor or a performing-rights organization), normalizes them, and shows you which income streams you are and are not collecting. It is currently in private beta and provided on an invitation basis.
2. Beta software, provided "as is"
This is pre-release software. It may contain bugs, change without notice, lose data, or be taken offline. We provide it as is, without warranties of any kind, and you use it at your own risk. Do not rely on it as your system of record.
3. Estimates are informational, not advice
Any figures, gaps, or "coverage" indicators StreamRev shows are informational estimates derived from the data you provide. They are not financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice, and they are not a guarantee that you are owed any specific amount. Verify anything material with the relevant payor or a professional before acting on it.
4. Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use StreamRev. It is a financial tool intended for adults, and it is not directed to children. By using it you confirm you are 18 or older.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
5. Your data and content
- You retain ownership of the statements and data you upload. We do not claim ownership of it.
- You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to operate the service for you (parse it, store it, and show it back to you).
- You represent that you have the right to upload the statements you provide and that doing so does not violate anyone else's rights or any agreement you're bound by.
6. Acceptable use
Don't upload data you don't have the right to use, attempt to access other users' data, probe or attack the service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend or remove access that does any of these.
7. Suspension and termination
Because this is an invite-only beta, we may suspend or end your access at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using StreamRev at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamRev and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost or inaccurate data, arising from your use of the beta. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service (which, during the free beta, is zero).
9. Your responsibility for what you upload
You agree to reimburse us (indemnify us) for any third-party claim, loss, or expense that arises from data you upload or connect without the right to do so, from your violation of these terms, or from your misuse of the service. In plain terms: if you upload something you didn't have the right to, and that causes us a legal problem, that's on you, not us.
10. Copyright & takedowns
StreamRev respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe content processed through the service infringes your copyright, email us at streamrevmusic@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the work and your contact information, and we will respond under the process set out in the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We may remove content and suspend accounts involved in repeated infringement.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll make a reasonable effort to let beta participants know. Continuing to use StreamRev after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Contact & governing law
StreamRev operates out of Miami, Florida, USA, and these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Questions? Email streamrevmusic@gmail.com.
