This tightens every publishing-side estimate and gets the collector right, whether your songwriter streaming royalties are paid to you directly, or through a publishing administrator who takes a cut.

numbers - that's deliberate. Estimates use your real
terms only once your executed publishing agreement and one of
its statements are both on file; until then they run on a
fully-disclosed rough estimate. If we already have your statements, we
read your effective rates from them (labeled provisional).

SoundExchange collects for you inside the United States.
Money for your plays abroad reaches you only if an International Mandate
is on file with them. We cannot look that up - SoundExchange does not
publish it and we do not search their site - so this is one we have to
ask you.

registration - never a dollar. SoundExchange holds royalties it
cannot pay for three years from release before they are distributed
to others.

One email a day at most, and only when there is
actually something new - a finding we turned up, a date coming up,
or something that came of an action you took. Never a running
commentary, and never a dollar figure: those live here, behind your
login, where they carry their source and their date.
IPI number
Your IPI (Interested Party Information number) is how The MLC and BMI / ASCAP match songs to you. Without it, your songs can't be matched, and they stay unmatched until it's on file. Find it in your BMI or ASCAP member portal.
Account password
Change the password you use to sign in. Choose something only you know, at least 8 characters.

Ask Claude about your royalties in plain English: which songs earn the most, what changed since your last statement, where money might be missing. It reads the same numbers you see on your dashboard. It can never change anything.
It connects through StreamRev's MCP connector (MCP is the open standard for linking AI assistants). Try asking: "Why was my latest statement lower than the one before?"

Read-only.Claude can see your songs, statements, and earnings. It can never change anything or touch payouts. There are no edit functions in the connection at all.

Open Claude's connector settings →In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app), open Customize, then Connectors, click the + button, and choose Add custom connector.
Name it StreamRev and paste this address into the server URL field (Claude calls this an MCP server URL):
Leave Advanced settings empty, then click Add.
Claude may say the connector is unverified. That is normal for any connector added by address rather than from Claude's directory. Click Connect on the StreamRev row.
StreamRev's approval page opens. Check it says read-only, sign in with your StreamRev account, and click Allow.
Back in Claude, start a chat, turn on StreamRev in the tools menu, and ask "What royalties have I collected?"
Works on free Claude accounts too. Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector, so this would be it.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an admin adds StreamRev under Organization settings first; you then click Connect.
StreamRev staff can sometimes look at your account: to file a claim for you, or to work out why something looks wrong. When that happens through a path that keeps a record, it is listed here. Paths that keep no record are named too, so this page is never a shorter answer than the truth.
